Placement: Begin by placing the plant container inside the BIO-SHIELD™ bag. This forms a barrier against external threats. It traps any pests that might already be present.
Covering: Pull the bag up and over the container.
Add Insect Predators (optional): If pests are present, it’s a great idea to add a sprinkle of predator insects inside the bag. BIO-SHIELD™ will work without them, but introducing predators is usually helpful if problems are already present.
Close with Drawstrings: Tighten the drawstrings around the plant’s main stem, positioning the opening at the base of the stem. Cinch tightly. The plant’s stem will widen over time further improving the seal. If it ever gets too tight, adjust to accommodate stem width.
Toggle Clips: After cinching the drawstrings closed and slide the toggle clips down. These ensure the aperture remains closed over time.
